I once edited a weekly newsletter called Dangerous Advice (n.b. - it contained very little advice of any sort, dangerous or otherwise), in which, given a general lack of interesting material to write or republish given a onrushing deadline, I often ended up vamping wildly and erratically. I like to think it was some of the very best writing I've produced to date. It was produced for an audience of a half-dozen to a dozen Penn State geeks, the vast majority of which immediately put it to use in making paper-airplanes, the better to torment the listless officers of that sleepy little social club. That social club still has online PDF copies of said newsletter, if any wandering visitor might find it of interest.
