The Arab League accepted Hoshiar Zeibar, the Iraqi Governing Council's foreign minister, as the current representative from Iraq. He's a Kurd. I like the idea of screwing with a racial organization like the Arab League in this fashion.
This will also, of course, make it very difficult for the UN to not let the Governing Council send an ambassador to take up Iraq's empty seat on the General Assembly.
